Crater Lake is widely known for it's amazing depth, intense blue color, pure water, and spectacular views.  In summer drive the Rim and enjoy one of the USA's most unique boat tours.

The  historic Crater Lake Lodge and camping are generally open  at Mazama Village, or hike some of the park's various trails including Mt. Scott at 8,929 ft.

Winter  winter brings some of the heaviest snowfall in the country to Crater Lake, which averages a whopping 533 inches of snow annually. The lodge is closed in winter but visitors may view the lake, cross-country ski (bring your own equipment), and experience a weekend snowshoe hike (contact the park for details and snowshoe sign outs).
